As found vintage western hat with added trimmings. Turns out the brass crossed saber badge indicates it was made by Stetson for the military. Lots of wear and in use distress. Clean now.
I added a 19th C black twill tape hatband, a Sterling Native made button and a big turkey feather.
Measures about size 7.
Inside lining is long gone.
